Tom Kuzilla is building a Deuce 3w with the features one might have found in a 60's period build. He came to us and wanted a chassis that would accommodate the blown 392 Hemi . Since the car is being built as a highboy fitting the engine and blower in a stock length frame was not the plan. We took a pair of stamped Deuce rails and lengthened them 3" in front of the stock location firewall. We then added the diagonal strap bracing inside the frame rails. Out back we added our inner C notch reinforcement plates. The front cross member was moved forward to help provide the clearance for the front dress on the engine. The frame has provisions for the many through the floor mounting points Tom wanted in the finished car. There are many features unique to this frame. Check out the pictures and see how many features you can spot. The reversed brake booster assembly, relocated upper triangulated mounts, provision for a dropped floor board area in front of the seating area are only a few that jump out at first glance. If you want to see the chassis in person we will have it on display in its full glory at the upcoming show in Dearborn, MI , 9th - 12th August, 2007 at , Deuce at 75. You can check out the show at www.deuce75.com Stop in and check it out for yourself!
