 Duane Phillips met one of our customers at a local car show and they talked about the chassis we had built for George Yarborough, a Model A chassis. Duane checked out Georges' chassis and contacted us about building a chassis for his Model A project. Oddly enough we had just finished a Model A chassis for another customer and had started on Gary Jefferson’s 37 chassis order.
 Duane and I sent e-mails back and forth to work out the details of his build. He decided on a Heidt’s IFS and a 9" rear housing with triangulated rear 4-bars. Except for the front suspension and bolt pattern Duane’s Model A chassis was a duplicate of the Model A chassis we had just finished.
